To learn and apply the Islands of Integrity™ methodology, you go through three successive stages: learning the methodology, developing the skills needed to facilitate organizational transformation, and applying the methodology within an organization to qualify for certification as a professional practitioner. If you want just to understand the methodology go to the course. If you want to become a certified anticorruption practitoner go through the next two stages, fulfilling the requirements
1. Learn the Methodology
Understand systemic corruption and organizational integrity.
The Islands of Integrity™ knowledge-building course is open to anyone interested in corruption, organizational integrity, and the *Islands of Integrity™* methodology. Through an interactive, self-paced e-learning course, complemented by practical examples and case studies—participants explore:
- The concepts of integrity and corruption
- Successful anti-corruption strategies in La Paz, Bolivia
- The *Islands of Integrity™* anti-corruption methodology
The course is offered in Free or Premium access options.
Premium participants (€50) can obtain a Certificate of Completion by submitting the final essay analyzing corruption vulnerabilities within their own organization and achieving a minimum score of 75 out of 100. This certificate is a prerequisite for advancing toward professional practitioner certification.
2. Facilitate Transformation
Develop the skills needed to guide a participatory organizational reform process.
The Skills Development Programme (€1,000 participation fee) is open to participants who successfully complete the Premium Knowledge Building Course and have previous experience in organizational management, training, consulting, and/or facilitation.
The programme combines self-paced e-learning modules, practical assignments, and live online sessions. Participants develop the competencies required for the three roles they perform when facilitating the application of the methodology:
- Trainer – designs experiential learning processes that engage leaders, employees, and stakeholders
- Consultant – builds effective relationships and prepares the organization for the application of the methodology
- Facilitator – guides participatory processes from self-assessment to participants formulating their own integrity solutions
Participants who are assessed on the quality of their participation and completion of assignments and achieve a minimum score of 75 out of 100 points receive a Certificate of Completion.

Public, private and civil society organizations interested in applying the Islands of Integrity™ Methodology can work with trained and certified practitioners to facilitate the process.
3. Become a Certified Practitioner
Apply the methodology in a real organization under mentoring and join the international network of certified practitoners.
Participants who have received the Certificate of Completion for the Skills Development Program continue their professional journey through the mentored application of the methodology, licensing, and certification.
The fee for this stage is €2,000.
They apply the Islands of Integrity™ methodology in a real organization, using the implementation toolkit and receiving mentoring before, during, and after the intervention.
This experience enables them to put into practice and demonstrate the professional competencies they have developed.
After successfully completing the mentored intervention and fulfilling the requirements of the Licensing Agreement, participants become Licensed and Certified Anti-Corruption Practitioners in the Islands of Integrity™ methodology, authorized to apply it independently.
